Super Cup NI celebrates the 35th edition of one of the world's best youth football tournaments. Teams from far and wide come to compete in the Junior, Premier and Under 21 sections of the competition. The matches are played at various venues across the Causeway Coast area with the finals taking place at the Ballymena Showgrounds on Friday 28th July.
The Super Cup NI tournament gives local football teams the opportunity to compete against some of the various youth teams from the Premier Division, Europe, UK, Ireland, South America, Central America, New Zealand and Africa.
The tournament kicks off on Sunday 23rd July with a colourful parade of the football teams around the town of Coleraine. This is popular with the footballers, and also with locals who line the streets to give a warm welcome and show of support.
Some of the venues for the matches are the Coleraine and Ballymena Showgrounds, Scroggy Road (Limavady), Riada Stadium (Ballymoney), Seahaven (Portstewart), Broughshane (Ballymena) and Anderson Park (Coleraine).
