Making A Booking
To avoid disappointment it is advisable to book at least 8 weeks in advance if possible by telephone, by email, by fax or letter. Bookings can be held for 7 days pending receipt of deposit.
A Deposit of £200.00 is payable on booking and non-refundable if booking is cancelled. This Deposit will normally be returned in full within one week of departure provided the property is left as found and in a clean and tidy condition. The deposit may also be used in the event of any loss or damage and breakages.
Individuals must be over the age of 25 to book cottage.
We reserve to terminate a booking or refuse entry to the property where anti–social behaviour is deemed or likely to occur with no refund.
To be paid without further notification within 6 weeks of arrival. If the payment is not received in time then we will consider the hirer in breach of contract, therefore the booking will be cancelled.
Your booking is only confirmed on receipt of a deposit.
Arrival & Departure
The cottage will be available to let from 4:00pm Saturday and finish at 10:00am the following Saturday.
If for any reason your time of arrival is later than agree, do notify us immediately by telephone on 02871 841200 or mobile 07759205221.
Holiday cancellation insurance is important. Once a booking has been agreed we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance for all persons within the party. The insurance should cover you if you have to cancel your holiday arrangements or any unforeseen expenses.
If you cancel or fail to take up your booking or leave prematurely, any deposit is likely to be forfeited and if the accommodation cannot be re-let, additional payment may be due.
The owners are not responsible or liable for loss or damage to personal possessions or personal accident whilst on the premises.
The hirer will take reasonable care of the property and its contents and will leave equipment, furnishing, utensils etc in a clean and tidy condition on departure. Where any additional cleaning is required a deduction will be made from the refundable deposit.
The hirer will be responsible for the cost of any breakage, damage or exceptional cleaning caused by any member of the group and must be reported.
We reserve the right to seek compensation for any damage discovered after the visitors have departed.
Number of Guests
The number of people occupying the property must not exceed the number that it was booked for.
Your host will be grateful if you would observe any house rules regarding smoking & pets.
NO Hen or Stag Parties or Large Groups are permitted.
If your group includes small children, you must ensure that they are supervised at all times as this is a real working farm with heavy agricultural machinery that may be operating at any time. Visitors are required NOT TO TOUCH any of the farm machinery or animals unless in the Company of either Robert or Elaine.
